Scribd - easy document publishing

There are times when you find a tool that is just stunningly good, works first time, is intuitive and produces exactly what you want - Scribd has done just that and brought some sunshine to a cloudy day.
Absolutely brilliant. You’ve got some Office docs, presentations or pdfs that you’d like to link to. Turn them into iPaper and they’ll not only appear quicker to users but will look so much better too. In fact, if you’ve already uploaded files then you can just send the url to Scribd and they’ll get converted without you having to do anything except change the link later.
There’s also a nice way to embed your document in a web page, for those who can manage a little copying and pasting of some code, or who can get someone to help them with that. The results are impressive.
Finally, I’ve just discovered that adding a simple cc link in your e-mail will provide access to attachments in iPaper too! No idea how on earth they can do that so still to investigate but, if it’s as described then, at long last, I can really have a simple solution to all those flaming Word attachments my colleagues insist on sending!!
To use the latest word - w00t!! OK, I’ll calm down soon.
